Banana Basket Set Beaded

These are very unique set of 3 hand woven banana Baskets of different sizes, embroidered with colourful maasai beads.

The baskets are tightly woven with banana leaves and then using wire, colorful Maasai beads are sewed onto the basket.

Patrick from Nairobi is the artisan behind these beautiful handmade piece. He has been working in this industry for almost two centuries and specialised mainly in beaded placemats, wooden bowls and sculptures.
